Check out this video for some tips on how to actually begin quieting your mind. It is helpful to do the following:
o Create a space
o Get support from others for accountability and support
o Set up what you need to listen to - a guided meditation (I have some on my podcast, The Courageous Path) or music (I like Tibetan singing bowls)
o Engage in light meditations all day long (running, walking, washing dishes) to create a new way of thinking and a new habit - try focusing on 10 breaths in a row!
o And try to do deeper, transcendental-type meditations to access the Higher realm and the subconscious, and do some inner work on limiting beliefs!
