Short Video 5: Why It Can be Hard to Start Meditating

Starting is often the hardest part of meditating. There are a few things you can do to make it easier to just start. Please watch this video for details and suggestions like:

o Just move your physical body to the place where you will sit/lie down - that sometimes can be the hardest part!

o Start small: Just for 2 minutes a day

o Be aware of the procrastination: the Ego self tries to stop us and keep us in a state of stasis, preventing us often from positive change

o Listen to the intuitive whisper nudging us to do it right then in the moment

o It’s also about discipline and structure! Just make yourself do it, but also be kind and celebrate the small wins (like a child learning to walk!)
